In the framework of the EUPM2 project the HEI’s involved as project partners are now organizing a series of Pilot Local University Courses (LUCs) on EU-funded projects management based on EUPM2 Guide, to test and validate the tailored guide, the curriculum and the teaching materials developed during the first year of the project.

The Pilot Local University Courses (LUCs) will be focused on knowledge transfer through face-to-face lessons and field seminars with university professors and professionals working on EU projects. The first Pilot Local University Course has been organized by the Nova University of Lisbon in the second half of January 2024 by Prof. Iva Pires and Dr. Monica Freitas and got the participation of Master and PHD Degrees Students (see the course program here). In the following months, 6 other Pilot Local University Courses (LUCs) will be organized by the project partners starting from February 2024 in the University of Pardubice (CZE), Alma Mater Europaea (SLO), Tartu Uuniversity (EST), Polytecnic University of Madrid, FH Joanneum University of Applied Science (AUT), University of Rome Tor Vergata.

In June 2024 a selection of the best students participating to the Pilot Local University Courses (LUCs) organized by the project partners, will meet in Rome to participate to the “EU Projects design challenge”.
